Abstract

Entrepreneurship training and business support services are crucial for enhancing the economic empowerment of female microfinance recipients in Kenyan informal markets. However, understanding which factors contribute to their success remains a critical area of research. The theoretical framework offers a robust foundation for understanding and improving the effectiveness of entrepreneurship training and business support services for female microfinance recipients, contributing to their economic growth and resilience. Based on these insights, it is recommended that policymakers prioritise funding for mentorship programmes and improve access to finance opportunities to empower female entrepreneurs in Kenyan informal markets.
