Abstract

Traditional medicine in Angola is a significant aspect of healthcare systems within African diaspora studies. A qualitative study involving interviews with traditional healers and surveys among Angolan communities to assess their reliance on traditional practices. The integration of traditional medicine into formal healthcare systems is crucial for improving access to care and addressing cultural sensitivities. Policy makers should encourage collaboration between traditional healers and modern health services to enhance overall public health outcomes in Angola.
