Abstract

Cultural preservation in Maasai community land involves balancing traditional practices with modern conservation efforts. A mixed-methods approach combining qualitative interviews and policy document analysis will be employed to explore the landscape of cultural preservation in Maasai communities. This framework highlights the need for tailored policies that recognise and respect local ecological knowledge while promoting sustainable development. Policy recommendations include integrating traditional wisdom into planning processes to enhance cultural preservation efforts and foster mutual understanding between practitioners and policymakers.
