Abstract

The Republic of Congo, like many African nations, faces challenges in preserving its intellectual heritage through libraries and archives. A qualitative approach will be employed to analyse existing literature on library and archive systems, focusing on their impact on preserving African intellectual heritage. Efforts should focus on enhancing accessibility and increasing resources for these institutions to better serve their communities. Investment in infrastructure, training programmes, and public awareness campaigns is recommended to improve archival services.
