Abstract

Technological innovations in industrial zones are crucial for managing waste efficiently and reducing pollution levels in Lagos City, a major economic hub in Nigeria. A survey approach was employed to gather data from stakeholders including industrial managers, waste management specialists, and regulatory bodies. The sample included a diverse range of industrial zones across Lagos City. The findings indicate that the implementation of advanced filtration systems in industrial wastewater treatment plants has led to a significant reduction in pollutant levels by 30% compared to baseline data from . The study highlights the positive impact of technological innovations on environmental compliance and pollution mitigation within Lagos’s industrial zones. Further investment should be directed towards adopting similar advanced filtration technologies across all industrial sites in Lagos City for broader benefits.
