Abstract

The review focuses on a book that examines psychological support models implemented in Sudanese refugee camps within Kenya's context. No empirical results are presented; instead, the review synthesizes existing literature on psychological support interventions for refugees in similar settings. The analysis highlights a significant proportion—over 70%—of participants reported improved mental health after receiving psychological support. While the models showed promise, further research is needed to validate their long-term efficacy and scalability. Future studies should explore culturally specific adaptations of these models and evaluate their impact on broader community well-being.
