Abstract

Translating African voices into global contexts presents unique challenges for cultural preservation and dissemination. An interdisciplinary approach combining literary analysis, sociolinguistic studies, and qualitative interviews with translators and scholars to explore challenges and successful strategies. A significant theme emerged regarding the preservation of Mozambican idioms and cultural nuances in translations, necessitating innovative translation techniques to maintain authenticity. The reviewed book highlights the importance of culturally sensitive translation methods for bridging linguistic gaps between Africa and global readership. Encourage further research into best practices for translating African literature contexts that include sociocultural considerations and audience engagement strategies.
