Abstract

Manufacturing plants in Senegal face significant operational risks that threaten productivity and sustainability. A quasi-experimental approach was employed to compare pre- and post-intervention data from selected Senegalese plants. Statistical analysis included logistic regression with robust standard errors. The intervention significantly reduced the likelihood of operational disruptions by 25% (\(OR = 0\).75, CI: 0.68-0.83) compared to control groups. Quasi-experimental design effectively quantifies risk reduction in Senegalese manufacturing systems, offering a robust methodology for future studies and policy implementation. Further research should explore scalability of the intervention across different sectors and regions within Senegal.
