Abstract
Translating African literature presents a unique set of challenges due to the diversity of languages and cultural contexts within Africa. No empirical data will be presented; instead, an analytical framework will be constructed based on existing literature and expert opinions from Senegal's cultural context. While acknowledging the challenges, this study aims to provide insights and strategies to enhance the global reach of African literature through effective translation practices. Recommendations include developing cultural competency training for translators and fostering collaboration between academic institutions and local communities in Senegal.
