Abstract

African philosophy encompasses a rich tapestry of ethical theories and practices that have shaped various aspects of Malawi's cultural heritage and contemporary social discourse. The analysis is grounded in a comprehensive review of existing literature on African philosophy and its application to Malawian societal issues. This theoretical framework underscores the importance of integrating African philosophical perspectives into global ethical discourse to foster more inclusive and culturally sensitive approaches to ethics. Future research should consider empirical studies that validate these theoretical insights through fieldwork, particularly focusing on how traditional moral teachings are applied in modern Malawian contexts.
