A Framework for Analysing Corporate Social Responsibility Practices in Multinational Corporations within Angola's Context
Abstract
Recent studies have highlighted the growing importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices among multinational corporations (MNCs). In Angola, a country with diverse economic sectors and limited CSR frameworks, MNCs are increasingly expected to integrate social and environmental responsibilities into their business operations. The methodology involves reviewing existing literature, conducting thematic analysis, and synthesizing insights from multiple sources to construct a robust theoretical framework. No empirical data is used due to the nature of this theoretical article. This framework provides a structured approach to understanding CSR practices within the context of Angolan business operations. It offers insights for both academic researchers and policy-makers aiming to enhance corporate accountability in Angola. Future research should explore the intersection between MNCs' CSR activities and local community needs, as well as potential synergies with national development goals. Policy recommendations suggest fostering a more balanced approach that includes social welfare initiatives alongside environmental efforts.
