Abstract

Ghana's historical governance challenges are rooted in colonial legacies and post-colonial political instability. A review of literature and case studies from African Studies archives. The historical context is crucial for understanding current governance challenges in Ghana's rural regions. Policy interventions should consider historical contexts to address ongoing development disparities effectively.
