Abstract

Water scarcity is a critical issue in Egypt's Nile Basin context, influenced by population growth and climate change. A comparative analysis of policy documents, stakeholder interviews, and academic literature from Egypt and other Nile Basin states. Egypt's approach prioritizes irrigation efficiency with a 30% reduction in water usage for agriculture compared to baseline levels. While Egypt has made progress, more integrated regional cooperation is needed to address shared water resource challenges effectively. Promote joint research initiatives and establish regional forums for sustainable Nile Basin development.
