Abstract

The Sahel region of Malawi faces significant climate variability, impacting livelihoods and human security. A mixed-methods approach combining qualitative interviews with remote sensing data to analyse changes over time. Rural communities are particularly vulnerable to climate shocks, necessitating immediate adaptation measures. Enhanced early warning systems and support for drought-resistant agricultural practices are recommended.
