Historical Foundations of Contemporary Governance Challenges in Congo: A Theoretical Framework

Abstract

This article explores the historical foundations of governance challenges in Congo, drawing on African Studies. A qualitative analysis will be employed to synthesize existing literature and historical data related to governance in DRC. This theoretical framework underscores the importance of understanding historical context for addressing present-day governance challenges in Congo. Policy makers should consider incorporating historical lessons into contemporary governance strategies to mitigate recurrent issues.
