Abstract

The Informal Economy plays a significant role in Côte d'Ivoire's GDP, yet its exact contribution remains understudied. Policy makers should consider supporting the development of formal sectors within the informal economy, promoting financial inclusion and improving data collection methods for more accurate GDP estimates.
