Abstract
Industrial zones in Ethiopian towns face significant waste management challenges that threaten both environmental health and economic productivity. A systematic literature review will be conducted to identify existing frameworks and gaps in industrial zone waste management practices. The theoretical framework will provide a comprehensive guide for policymakers, practitioners, and researchers aiming to enhance sustainable industrial development in Ethiopia. Policymakers should prioritise the implementation of green infrastructure projects alongside waste reduction strategies to achieve holistic environmental improvements.
