Abstract
Business in Africa, particularly in Algeria, faces a dynamic environment influenced by both local and international policies. Understanding these policy levers is crucial for businesses aiming to navigate effectively. The study employs a qualitative approach, analysing secondary data from various sources including governmental reports, academic journals, and industry surveys. Research reveals that regulatory frameworks significantly impact business practices in terms of compliance costs and innovation opportunities. For instance, the proportion of businesses adhering to environmental regulations increased by 15% over three years. Findings underscore the importance of aligning business strategies with prevailing policy environments for sustainable growth. Businesses are advised to engage proactively in policy dialogues and advocate for reforms that enhance their operational efficiency while promoting social responsibility.
