Abstract

Comparative business dynamics in Senegalese regions have significant implications for understanding regional economic development and policy effectiveness. The analysis employs a mixed-methods approach, integrating qualitative interviews with quantitative data from regional economic reports and surveys. Senegalese regions exhibit distinct business climates, with the Casamance region demonstrating higher entrepreneurial activity rates at approximately 25% compared to other areas. The findings underscore the importance of tailored policies that address specific challenges in each region to foster sustainable economic growth. Policy recommendations include targeted financial support for small businesses in the Casamance, strengthening regional infrastructure initiatives, and enhancing business education programmes across Senegal.
