Corporate Social Responsibility Practices Among Multinational Corporations in Angola: An Analytical Study

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices among multinational corporations (MNCs) have become increasingly important in addressing social and environmental challenges globally. The study employs a qualitative approach involving semi-structured interviews with MNC representatives and secondary data analysis of publicly available reports. A notable finding is that 70% of MNCs engaged in community development initiatives, highlighting the growing commitment to CSR in Angola. Despite efforts, there are disparities in CSR practices across different sectors and corporate types, indicating room for improvement. MNCs should prioritise consistent reporting on their CSR activities and engage more closely with local stakeholders to enhance transparency and accountability.
