Abstract

Entrepreneurship in Nigeria's informal sector is a dynamic field with significant economic implications for Lagos, the country’s commercial hub. The analysis will draw from existing literature and expert interviews to construct a comprehensive theoretical model without empirical data collection or analysis. The theoretical model underscores the importance of government support, financial inclusion schemes, and capacity-building initiatives to foster sustainable entrepreneurship in Lagos’ informal sector. Develop targeted interventions that address specific challenges such as access to finance and market information. Promote community-based learning and mentorship programmes to support women entrepreneurs. Lagos, Entrepreneurship, Informal Sector, Women Entrepreneurs, Risk-taking
