Theoretical Dynamics of Agricultural Insurance in West African Soybean Yields: A Framework Exploration

Abstract

Agricultural insurance plays a critical role in mitigating yield variability among soybean producers in West African countries like Gabon. Theoretical exploration through literature review, model development, and scenario analysis. This theoretical framework provides a robust foundation for understanding and improving agricultural insurance policies in West African soybean production. Policy makers should prioritise expanding insurance coverage to achieve yield stability among farmers, especially those with lower income levels.
