Abstract

Sustainable fishing methods are crucial for maintaining biodiversity and ensuring long-term food security in coastal communities facing increasing pressure from overfishing. Theoretical development will be employed to construct a comprehensive model that integrates economic, ecological, and social dimensions affecting local fisheries sustainability. The theoretical framework will serve as a foundation for future empirical studies and policy recommendations aimed at enhancing coastal livelihoods through sustainable fisheries management. Policy makers should incentivize community-based conservation initiatives that promote integrated ecosystem approaches to ensure the long-term viability of fishing resources.
