Abstract

In Kigali, Rwanda's capital city, there is a burgeoning startup ecosystem supported by innovation hubs designed to foster entrepreneurship and technological advancement. Qualitative data collection methods were employed through interviews with entrepreneurs, stakeholders, and observations at innovation hubs. Quantitative analysis was also conducted using survey responses from startups. The research identified a notable growth trend in tech-related startups within the last two years, with 45% of surveyed businesses reporting increased funding opportunities facilitated by hub partnerships. Innovation hubs have become crucial nodes for connecting entrepreneurs to resources and networks essential for their success. Local government should continue to support these hubs through policy incentives and infrastructure development to sustain the ecosystem's growth.
