Abstract

In Lagos, Nigeria, waste management is a significant challenge due to its rapid urbanization and population growth. A comparative study using secondary data from government reports, academic journals, and company annual reports. Findings indicate a shift towards more sustainable business practices with a notable increase in recycling initiatives from onwards. The analysis highlights the importance of adopting innovative models to improve waste management efficiency and environmental impact. Recommendation for policymakers is to encourage public-private partnerships and support technology adoption in waste management companies. Waste Management, Lagos, Innovation, Sustainability
