Abstract

Business operations in conflict-affected regions such as Ethiopia face unique ethical challenges that can impact sustainability and trust among stakeholders. This study employs a systematic review approach, synthesizing existing literature on ethical dilemmas and conflict impacts on businesses, without conducting original empirical research. This theoretical framework outlines the critical challenges faced by businesses in conflict zones like Ethiopia, emphasising the need for comprehensive support systems that address both immediate and long-term ethical issues. Recommendations include developing tailored training programmes for SMEs on post-conflict resilience and ethics, as well as establishing regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance with international ethical standards.
