Abstract
Lagos Tech Hub incubator programmes have emerged as significant platforms for fostering youth entrepreneurship in Nigeria's tech sector. A mixed-methods approach combining quantitative surveys with qualitative interviews was employed, focusing on participants from three major Lagos Tech Hub incubator programmes over two years. Findings indicate that mentorship support and access to capital significantly impact startup survival rates (p < 0.05), with a median increase of 20% in funding application success among mentored entrepreneurs. The study underscores the importance of tailored support programmes for youth tech entrepreneurs, particularly in terms of financial assistance and expert guidance. Policy makers should prioritise continuous mentorship training and accessible financing mechanisms to sustain incubator effectiveness.
