Abstract
In rural Egypt, gender disparities are prevalent in legal systems, affecting women's rights to land ownership and inheritance. This article employs qualitative research methods to analyse existing literature on gender justice and legal empowerment in Egypt’s rural settings. The theoretical framework identifies key barriers and suggests policy interventions to enhance women's legal empowerment in rural Egypt. Policy recommendations include reforms to inheritance laws and increased access to legal aid for rural women.
