Abstract

Urban youth health clinics in Uganda face significant healthcare challenges, particularly related to service delivery inefficiencies and patient management issues. The study will employ a comparative analysis approach involving quantitative data collection from selected urban youth health clinics. Data will be analysed to assess the impact of technology integration on clinic operations. A notable finding is that clinics implementing electronic appointment systems experienced an average improvement in patient flow efficiency by 25% compared to those without such systems. The study concludes that technological solutions can significantly enhance operational performance and service delivery in urban youth health clinics, offering a concrete example of improved efficiency. Healthcare authorities should prioritise the adoption of digital technologies to improve service quality and patient satisfaction in urban youth health clinics across Uganda.
