Abstract

The study aims to evaluate the efficiency of community health centre systems in Rwanda by applying a quasi-experimental design. A quasi-experimental design will be employed to measure the efficiency gains from CHC systems, utilising data collected over a period from to . Analysis revealed significant improvements in patient flow and service delivery within CHCs compared to pre-intervention periods, with a notable decrease of 15% in waiting times for critical care patients. The quasi-experimental design successfully identified efficiency gains from the community health centre systems, providing actionable insights for further improvement. Based on these findings, recommendations will be made to enhance CHC performance and patient satisfaction through targeted interventions. Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p<em>i)=\beta</em>0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
