Electronic medical records (EMR) systems are increasingly being implemented in public hospitals to enhance healthcare delivery efficiencies. A mixed-methods approach was employed, including surveys and interviews with hospital staff to assess their engagement and perceived benefits of EMR systems. Staff adoption scores indicated a moderate but increasing trend towards EMRs, with an average score of 65 out of 100 across hospitals, suggesting room for improvement in user satisfaction. While initial staff adoption was moderate, the study highlights potential areas for system enhancement and further training to improve overall effectiveness. Enhanced user training programmes and ongoing support are recommended to boost EMR usage and ensure better patient care outcomes.
