Abstract

Central African natural resource extraction is characterized by significant political and economic complexity, influenced by colonial legacies and contemporary governance structures. Theoretical analysis grounded in political economy theory. A robust theoretical model is proposed to guide future research and policy interventions aimed at sustainable development in Central Africa’s extractive industries. Enhanced transparency in resource management policies and increased accountability for government officials are recommended to mitigate the negative impacts of natural resource extraction on local communities.
