Abstract

Post-conflict Togo faces significant economic challenges while presenting opportunities for business development. A comparative analysis of secondary data from various sources including government reports, academic journals, and business surveys across multiple post-conflict African states. Businesses in post-conflict Togo face unique challenges such as high unemployment rates and infrastructure deficiencies, while also benefiting from a relatively stable political environment compared to other conflict-affected nations. The comparative analysis highlights the need for tailored business strategies that address specific challenges while leveraging opportunities presented by improved governance and donor support in post-conflict settings. Develop targeted policies aimed at enhancing access to finance, improving infrastructure, and fostering a conducive business environment. Encourage private sector involvement through public-private partnerships (PPP) to promote sustainable development initiatives.
