Abstract
Post-Natural Disaster Economic Recovery in Urban Sierra Leone Communities A qualitative approach was employed to gather insights from urban Sierra Leone communities experiencing post-natural disaster economic recovery, focusing on the use and impact of community banking platforms. Community banking platforms played a significant role, with over 70% of participants reporting improved access to financial services that facilitated their economic recovery efforts after natural disasters in -. Community banking platforms were crucial for economic recovery and are recommended as an essential component of disaster preparedness and response strategies in urban Sierra Leone communities. Urban Sierra Leone policymakers should integrate community banking platforms into their post-disaster economic recovery plans to enhance financial inclusion and support sustainable development.
