Abstract
The Sahel region of Nigeria is facing significant climate challenges, including recurrent droughts and unpredictable rainfall patterns. Theoretical analysis will be employed to explore the complex interplay between climate change and human security in the region. This theoretical framework underscores the urgency of integrating climate resilience strategies into existing security policies to mitigate future human security threats. Policy makers should prioritise investment in early warning systems and community-based adaptation programmes to enhance resilience against climate-induced shocks.
