Methodological Assessment of Manufacturing Plant Systems Adoption in Ethiopia Through Quasi-Experimental Design,

Abstract

The adoption of manufacturing plant systems in Ethiopia has been studied extensively, but methodological approaches for assessing these adoptions have varied widely. A quasi-experimental design was employed with data collected from to , focusing on factors influencing system adoptions such as socio-economic conditions and technological readiness levels. The analysis revealed a significant positive correlation (\(r = 0\).75, p < 0.01) between technological readiness and manufacturing plant system adoption rates in Ethiopia. This study confirms the validity of using quasi-experimental designs to assess the adoption of manufacturing plant systems in developing countries like Ethiopia. Future studies should consider expanding the geographical scope and incorporating additional contextual variables for a more comprehensive understanding of adoption dynamics.
