Afrofuturism is a contemporary cultural movement that explores African possibilities for the future through art, literature, and media. A qualitative content analysis of Afrofuturist works produced by Senegalese artists, writers, and filmmakers between and . Themes such as urbanization, environmental sustainability, and gender equality emerge as prominent in the analysed works. Afrofuturism offers insights into how Senegalese society can envision and prepare for future challenges and opportunities. Policy makers should consider incorporating Afrofuturist narratives to foster inclusive and sustainable development strategies in Senegal.
