Abstract
Climate change is impacting small-scale fishermen in Lake Victoria regions of Kenya and Uganda by altering fishing patterns and reducing fish catch. Theoretical analysis will involve reviewing existing literature, stakeholder consultations, and expert insights to identify key factors affecting fishery sustainability. This theoretical framework provides a foundation for understanding the challenges faced by small-scale fishermen and designing effective adaptation programmes. Developing context-specific adaptation measures is recommended based on insights from this framework.
