Abstract
Child maltreatment remains a significant public health issue in Tanzania, particularly affecting children living in rural areas and urban slums. Theoretical analysis will be employed to construct a comprehensive theoretical model based on existing literature and expert insights. A robust theoretical framework is essential for understanding the mechanisms through which community-based healthcare promotion can contribute to preventing child maltreatment. Future research should empirically test these theoretical insights in diverse Tanzanian settings and evaluate their effectiveness on a larger scale.
