Health Systems Resilience in Eswatini during Epidemics: Comparative Insights from Africa
Abstract
The study examines health systems resilience in Eswatini during epidemics, drawing comparative insights from African contexts. A comparative analysis of public health data from multiple African countries during recent epidemics, including Eswatini. The study employs statistical methods for comparing resilience metrics across regions. Eswatini demonstrated an effective response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic, with notable improvements in healthcare infrastructure and disease management protocols. The comparative analysis highlights strategies that can enhance health systems’ resilience against future epidemics. Policy recommendations include strengthening community engagement and integrating digital health solutions into national health plans.
