Land tenure systems in Mozambique are a critical determinant of agricultural investment outcomes. A comprehensive search strategy was employed to identify relevant literature from multiple databases. Studies were screened according to predefined inclusion criteria, and data extraction was conducted using a standardised form. Findings were synthesized through thematic analysis. The review identified that tenure stability significantly influences investment decisions, with investments being more likely in systems providing clear and predictable land rights (direction: positive impact). Current literature suggests that well-defined tenure systems are crucial for fostering agricultural development, particularly in resource-limited settings. Policy makers should prioritise reforms aimed at enhancing the clarity and predictability of land tenure to stimulate agricultural investment. The empirical specification follows $Y=\beta_0+\beta^\top X+\varepsilon$, and inference is reported with uncertainty-aware statistical criteria.
