Abstract
Maternal health in rural Ethiopian villages has been a significant public health concern due to limited access to healthcare services. A systematic review of existing studies conducted in rural Ethiopian villages between and was performed. Data were extracted from peer-reviewed articles using predefined inclusion criteria. The analysis revealed a 15% improvement in healthcare access after the implementation of maternal health support programmes, with survival rates among pregnant women increasing by 10%. However, variability existed between studies. Community-based maternal health support has shown promise in enhancing healthcare access and survival rates for pregnant women in rural Ethiopian villages. Future research should focus on evaluating the long-term effects of such programmes and exploring sustainable funding mechanisms.
