Abstract
Urban Lagos is a significant megacity in Nigeria, facing substantial air pollution challenges due to rapid industrialization and population growth. The theoretical framework provides a comprehensive understanding of air pollution dynamics in Lagos, emphasising the need for integrated urban planning and policy interventions to reduce emissions and improve public health outcomes. Implementing stringent emission standards for vehicles and industries, coupled with green infrastructure initiatives such as tree planting programmes and efficient waste management systems, are recommended strategies. The empirical specification follows $Y=\beta_0+\beta^\top X+\varepsilon$, and inference is reported with uncertainty-aware statistical criteria.
