Abstract

This review examines secondary school systems in Ghana to assess their efficiency gains through methodological evaluation. A comprehensive search strategy was employed using databases such as Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar. Studies were screened based on predefined inclusion criteria related to DiD models applied to education systems. Data synthesis included meta-analysis where applicable. $Y = β_0 + β_1DiD + ε$ The analysis reveals that the DiD model can effectively measure efficiency gains in Ghana’s secondary schools, though implementation varies across regions and contexts. Future research should explore regional differences and incorporate additional control variables to improve model accuracy.
