Abstract

Recent decades have seen a proliferation of regional economic blocs in Africa aimed at fostering intra-regional trade and development. A mixed-method approach involving literature review, expert interviews, and thematic analysis is employed to construct the theoretical model. The study highlights the potential of regional blocs for enhancing economic development and stability within Africa. Further research should explore replicability of Senegalese models in other African countries to inform policy-making.
