Abstract

Entrepreneurship ecosystems have gained significant attention for their role in fostering innovation and economic development globally. In East Africa, particularly in Chad, these systems are crucial but understudied areas of research. The study employs a qualitative approach to analyse existing literature on entrepreneurship ecosystems and innovative hubs in Chad, synthesizing insights from various disciplines including economics, sociology, and geography. This theoretical framework provides a structured roadmap for future research into entrepreneurship ecosystems and innovation hubs in Chad, emphasising the need for tailored interventions to enhance their effectiveness. Based on this analysis, it is recommended that policymakers focus on developing robust funding mechanisms and promoting education and training programmes to strengthen local entrepreneurial capabilities.
