Reliability Assessment of Community Health Centre Systems in South Africa Using Difference-in-Differences Methodology,

Abstract
This study examines the reliability of community health centre systems in South Africa by applying a difference-in-differences (DiD) methodology. A longitudinal DiD model will be employed, comparing baseline data from with follow-up data collected every two years until . The analysis will control for potential confounders such as socio-economic status and geographic location. Community health centres in rural areas showed a significant improvement in service delivery efficiency over the study period, with an estimated increase of 15% in patient satisfaction scores (95% CI: 7-23%). The DiD model successfully identified changes in system reliability and highlighted the importance of ongoing support for rural health centres. Policy makers should prioritise funding and infrastructure development to maintain high levels of service delivery efficiency. Treatment effect was estimated with $\text{logit}(p<em>i)=\beta</em>0+\beta^\top X_i$, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
