Abstract

This article explores the evolution of African philosophy in post-colonial Somalia, a field within African Studies. No empirical data are analysed; instead, the article employs a critical review of existing literature to identify key theoretical shifts in post-colonial Somali African philosophy. Theoretical frameworks have evolved to better accommodate local contexts while also engaging critically with global philosophical discourses. Further research should focus on empirical applications of these theoretical models in Somali communities to assess their effectiveness and relevance.
