Abstract
Ghana's energy sector is characterized by significant reliance on imported fuels, leading to vulnerability in times of supply disruptions. This theoretical framework underscores the potential benefits of regional cooperation for Ghana’s energy security and provides a robust basis for policymakers and planners. Policymakers should prioritise the establishment of a regional power pool in Ghana, considering cost savings and increased reliability as key factors. The empirical specification follows $Y=\beta_0+\beta^\top X+\varepsilon$, and inference is reported with uncertainty-aware statistical criteria.
