Abstract
Historical governance challenges in Cape Verdean contexts have shaped contemporary political landscapes, influencing social structures and economic development. No empirical data are used; an interpretive analysis of primary sources and secondary literature is employed to explore theoretical constructs related to African governance challenges. The analysis underscores how historical contexts profoundly influence current governance dynamics in Cape Verdean settings. Future research could benefit from incorporating more empirical data to validate theoretical insights and inform policy recommendations.
